The author of that article quotes what cartoonist and novelist Doug Marlette wrote in an article in Salon.com. Marlette was not writing about or referring to Borders in any way. But the quote seems to fit my opinion of the Borders situation.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;"When we withhold information in the name of a misguided sensitivity, by default we allow nihilistic street mobs from London to Jakarta to define the debate in this country. In effect, we have capitulated to intimidation and threats and negotiated with terrorists. No need for Zarqawi to behead us. But, no, they have decided to cave into extremists and not allow you or I to buy a copy of Free Inquiry, which of course we have every right to do in America.
